Due to the limited time in the filing season, I prefer you to upload documents to me. I will contact you with clarifications and/or questions once I’ve worked on your return. I will ALWAYS touch base before filing. I am trying to avoid too many sit down appointments.

Upload & We Chat Before Filing (preferred method)

If you already used SmartVault last year, you will just log into https://taxesbyrachel.smartvault.com and you will find the TY23 folder. You can securely upload all docs to the client source documents folder. If you have a particular note to leave me, you can open a word doc and type me a message to make me aware of any major changes from the year before. Or email me. I will work tax returns in the order of docs received. No need to schedule an appointment. I will always contact you to discuss before filing! There is a reset password link if you forgot your password.

If you don’t have a SmartVault account yet, please look for the email from me regarding this (search your inbox for “SmartVault”). SmartVault will prompt you to create a complex password. Once activated, you can securely upload documents. This is also nice because it will become a part of your records that you can access all year round!

I do get notified when documents are uploaded, but I won’t know if you have EVERYTHING there, so once all documents are uploaded, please send me an email to let me know that, and/or if you’d like to schedule a phone call with me to discuss, please use the scheduling app below. I MUST HAVE ALL DOCUMENTS AT LEAST 3 DAYS PRIOR TO SCHEDULED PHONE CALLS. You do not have to schedule an appointment unless you feel you need to discuss something. I will always contact you before filing.

If you prefer to drop off your documents, you are welcome to drop by the office Monday – Friday 9 am to 3 pm and leave with receptionist if I am unavailable. If you need arrangements outside of those hours, please email me.
